Itaú has launched a new credit card that will provide special benefits to its customers, the Visa Signature. The new card is aimed at the Uniclass public and among its many advantages is the exemption from annual fees and cashback. Learn more about it!
Meet the card
By using the card for transactions in dollars, the user accumulates 1.5 points for every dollar spent. These points can later be exchanged for miles, products and cashback on the invoice.
This way, the user can eliminate certain expenses and pay less on the following month's bill. Itaú has not yet said how many points the user needs to accumulate to eliminate R$ 1 from the bill.
Unlike the cards already adopted by Itaú, the Signature has an annual fee of R$750.00, but there is the possibility of exemption. To do so, the user must maintain a monthly spending of over R$4,000.00. Spending over R$2,000 results in an annual fee of R$501.00. If you prefer to opt for the version without the rewards program, the Signature card has no annual fee.
Following the same path, Itaú also expanded the possibilities for customers to eliminate the annual fee for Black and Visa Infinite. The cost to obtain them is R$72.00 per month, which was R$864.00 per year.
Today it is possible to have the annual fee free in two situations:
- When the user spends at least R$ 8 thousand per month;
- If you have a value greater than R$ 50 thousand invested in the bank.

How do I apply for a Visa Signature card?
To purchase the card you must follow the following steps:
- Access the website Visa;
- Select the option “Request your card”;
- You will then be directed to a page that will have information about the card;
- Finally, you will be redirected to the Banco Itaú website, which is the only bank that offers this service.
