What is the Amounts Receivable System?

“Values to be received” is the new website of the Central Bank created so that you can check if you have money forgotten in the bank, consortiums or other financial institutions.

The website has been available since February 14th. If there is any amount to receive, the transfer can be made from March 7th.

It is estimated that there will be around R$4 billion to be developed for 28 million people and companies in the first phase alone. In the second phase, the total will reach R$8 billion.

The “Amounts to be received” website had been announced in January 2022. However, within a short time, the system became overloaded and went offline.

For this reason, the Central Bank had to suspend operations until access was reestablished again.

The step-by-step guide to finding out if you have forgotten money in the bank

The first step is to access the “Amounts to Receive” website.

In case of a query for an individual, you must enter your CPF and date of birth.

If you are a legal entity, you will have to inform the CNPJ and the date the company was opened.

If you have any amount to withdraw, remember the date the system informs you. This is exactly the day you will know the exact amount you have to receive and request the transfer.

Check if there are amounts to receive

It is important to mention that if you have any amount to receive, the information will not be displayed immediately.

In fact, the Values Receivable (SVR) system will set a date so that you can have access to the exact amount to be received.

When you receive the appointment, keep an eye on the period indicated (4am to 2pm or 2pm to midnight).

Is it necessary to create a GovAccount?

Yes, to find out the amounts and ways to request the transfer, you must create an account with a silver or gold level reliability seal.

It's a relatively simple and easy procedure, so it won't take you long to create your account!

But after all, how do I register?

The first step is to enter the website Gov.br.

Create your account, which is at bronze, silver or gold level. You will need to obtain the silver or gold trust seal through the available validations.

What are the account types?

Each of the categories (bronze, silver or gold) presents certain differences, such as the level of security in the data validation process.

• Bronze: When you register on the Gov.Br website, you already guarantee access to this modality.

• Silver: In addition to the features offered by the bronze account, you will have access to others, such as the possibility of validating your data via internet banking at an accredited bank.

• Gold: The gold version, in addition to having all the benefits of the previous modalities, has the maximum level of security.

Check the amount available to receive

On the day established by the system, you must return to the “Values to receive” website.

As you already know, to access the system, you will need to have a silver or gold account.

Once you log in, you will be informed about the amount available and how to request the transfer.

How do I receive the available amounts?

Do you have money left in the bank? Then it's time to get it back!

If the financial institution in question offers to refund the amount for Pix modality, the request will be made through the “Values to Receive” website.

Therefore, if this option is valid for you, we recommend using it, as transferring via Pix is the most practical option.

The deadline to receive the money is up to 12 business days.

If the financial institution does not yet work with the Pix method, you will receive the institution's contact details (telephone and email). This way, you can contact the company and arrange to return the money forgotten at the bank.

It is important to remember that the financial institution you have chosen will contact you to make the transfer only after you have accessed the system and only if you request it without providing a Pix key.

How does the repechage work?

If you do not return to the site on the date and period indicated, you will have to return on the Saturday of the repechage.

The repechage will run throughout the day, from 4 am to midnight, according to the Central Bank.

What happens if I miss the date?

If you miss the date for any reason, don't worry, you can return to the website and receive a new appointment date.

Financial institutions will hold the funds for as long as necessary, waiting for the person to request the transfer.

Summary step by step of the Amounts to be received

• Enter the Receivables System website

• If you have any amount to receive, a date will be designated

• On that date, access the system again with your Gov.Br login (silver or gold)

• Check the amount you have to receive

Beware of scams

Unfortunately, new SVR scams are already occurring.

Some cybercriminals are trying to steal victims' data through fake websites and WhatsApp itself.

The Central Bank does NOT send links or contact citizens to discuss the amounts to be received.

The only way to access the system and find out if you have money forgotten in the bank is through the “Values to Receive” website.

Conclusion

Many Brazilians have money forgotten in the bank.

To redeem this amount, you must have a silver or gold seal account on the Gov.Br website and access the “Amounts to Receive” system.

To increase your security and avoid falling for scams, never click on suspicious links or share confidential information!
