How the NIS Number Defines the Bolsa Família Calendar
The Bolsa Família payment dates are determined by the last digit of each beneficiary's Social Identification Number (NIS). The NIS, found on the Bolsa Família card, determines the order of payments throughout the month.
For example, if the last digit of your NIS is 1you will receive the benefit on the dates designated for that group.
