What is Uber?

Uber is a company founded in 2009, and despite being relatively new, it has worldwide success and popularity.

Uber Comfort

The Uber Comfort category was divided into three lists, A, B and C, to meet the specific demands of each city, as this service is not available everywhere.

On List A, which includes cities such as Brasília, Curitiba and Porto Alegre, cars such as Audi A3, BMW Series 1, Chery Arrizo 5, Fiat Bravo and many others up to 5 years old are permitted. 

On List B, which covers cities such as Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Audi A3, BMW X2, Chevrolet Blazer, Citroen Aircross and Dodge Journey cars up to 7 years old are permitted.

On List C, which includes cities such as Fortaleza, Salvador and Recife, Audi A3, Chery Tiggo, Chevrolet Captiva, Ford Edge, and Honda City cars with up to 7 years of manufacture up to 2019, and up to 8 years of manufacture from 2020 onwards are permitted.

Uber Black

Uber's premium service is Uber Black, and of course, with this the demands on cars become a little higher.

And for you to be able to work with this service, your car must be manufactured from 2016 onwards, in addition to having 4 doors and 5 seats.

In addition, it needs to be a sedan or SUV type car, with leather seats and air conditioning. Another important feature is that there are predefined colors, which are: black, silver, gray, lead, navy blue, brown and white.

However, they must have been manufactured from 2016 onwards, so that they can maintain a quality standard in this “premium” service.

Requirements to work as an app driver

In order to be an Uber driver, you must meet some basic requirements to enter the first level of the app, which is Uber X.
