According to a survey carried out by Fecomércio-SP, the Federation of Commerce of Goods, Services and Tourism of the State of São Paulo in 2023, 65% of Brazilian families are in debt.

These are quite alarming and shocking data, but they need to be exposed so that people become more aware of what financial education is, its importance and what means exist to access this type of learning.

When we talk about financial education, we are referring to the set of knowledge, skills and behaviors that will guide and help us make smarter and more conscious decisions about our money.

It is with this knowledge that we understand the importance and role of money in our lives. We also learn to manage our financial resources in order to avoid debt or default, but still help us achieve our goals.

And why learn?

In addition to providing technical knowledge about financial concepts, financial education also addresses the importance of healthy attitudes and habits regarding money, such as financial discipline, controlling spending, avoiding unnecessary debt and developing a mindset of planning for the future.
